Additional Information

A Daoist figure possibly Dongfang Shuo as he is holding a peach in his hands. He is remembered as the man who lived to be 18,000 years old after stealing the peaches of immortality from Xi Wang-mu’s garden. He is usually seen fleeing with this stolen fruit, glancing back over his shoulder, with his robe billowing in his wake. Similar figures were found in the Geldermalsen wreck so we can date them to circa 1750.
